Blue Fish

Blue Fish

It's been a long time since my last post . I have been very busy painting and drawing. A new range of home ware  products are about to be launched with some of my new designs on,whoa hoo!! In the meantime I thought I would post a painting I did at the end of last year. I am now selling my paintings at http://www.artgallery.co.uk/artist/judith_keen_2 please take a look.

What are you lookin' at?

I have spent the last few weeks thinking of a subject for the painting I wanted to submit to the Threadneedle Prize I have toyed with a couple of ideas and committed them to canvas only to be disappointed with the results before I have even finished them, so with only a couple of weeks remaining before the registration closed, I decided to go with an old idea taken from a photo snapped on holiday last year.

I know that my technique is not particularly fashionable and it may not be what the judges are looking for for entry into the exhibition but I love painting people in a less conventional pose and I am happy with this painting so I am submitting this.

Wish me luck I am submitting it today!
